200,000 fishing boats didn't leave their docks earlier this week to protest against the increasing gasoline prices. In some areas, gasoline costs double what it used to a year ago meaning that many fishing companies end up being in the red just by fulling up their boat.
The government don't seem to be able to (or willing to) do anything about it. Could this mean that all we see are egg in sushi restaurants?
When I first came to Japan, I could not really eat sushi so used to choose the egg sushi all the time. Now I'm used to it and have even acquired the taste for wasabi.
What do you normally choose when you go out for some sushi?
