Rising fuel costs and rising food prices has led McDonald’s Japan to announce its second price hike of 2008: Company officials say prices will rise by less than 5 percent, as the cost of purchasing meat, bread, potatoes and other ingredients is expected to increase by about 10 billion yen during the current business year.
