A female student aged 20 (like the one you see in this photo) was caught "stealing" 0.015 watts of electricity while she was waiting for somebody at a station. She used an electricity socket at a station to charge her phone while waiting. A passer by then called 110 and reported her to the police.
The student said "I know it was bad to do so" and got let off with a warning.
A spokesman for the police said "even if its 3 sen (0.3 yen), its still stealing."
