Q: So how are Toyota Japan dealing with the decline in sales during the recession? A: By getting their 2200 directors to buy a Toyota car. They said that their directors will buy a Toyota by March and that the directors are not being forced to buy one - "its completely up to them if they buy one or not." 4 years ago, Sanyo done the same hing with their employees to help get them out of a financial crisis which they never overcame as they now belong to Panasonic.
