Japanese Children Transportation

Folks who have lived in Japan for a while are likely to have come across a sight like this - children being transported between locations in a cart. Kinda practical I suppose but interesting to see at the same time ^^; See a few more pics at Kirainet. And this is I took that some of you may have seen before - another practical way of hoarding children in the right direction. At least their hands were not tied like the ones I saw back in the UK. How would you feel about day care center folks carting or leading your kids by a rope?
